There are many route options to travel coast to coast, however, we've put together this absolute gem of a journey across the widest part of the UK.
Our journey starts at the UK's most Easterly point, Ness point in the town of Lowestoft. The first two days are relatively flat as we head
from here due west along the Suffolk plains and into Cambridgeshire. As we continue our journey West, the terrain becomes more challenging, which in turn offers increasingly beautiful views.
We'll pass through the Cotswolds and through countless other stunning areas of natural beauty including the Malvern Hills and the Wye Valley.
The latter part of our journey takes us into Wales where we'll enjoy rolling hills and jaw dropping vistas. We'll pass through the Brecon Beacons national park on our route over to St David's, Britain's smallest, and most Westerly city, where our journey ends,
This trip takes in some of the UK's most scenic cycling and we look forward to sharing it with you.
After getting a team photo at Ness point (Britain's most Easterly point) we'll head due west along the incredibly flat terrain of Sufolk. We'll pass through it's rich green farm land, pleasant country lanes and through lots of quaint small villages, before landing in the Horse racing town of Newmarket!
Arguably the toughest part of today comes rifght at the start as we leave Newmarket! A stiff climb puts us up along the tops, with lovely views out to Cambridgeshire!
Once again we are in for a fairly flat day as we traverse the areas lanes. A ride through Woburn Deer park will see us to the end of todays ride in the lovely small town of Woburn!
What a treat in store today as we pass through three different Areas of Outstanding Natural Beauty!
The morning will see us through the gorgeous Cotswolds, though countless postcard villages, before hitting the southern Malvern Hills and finally the northern tip of the Wye Valley!
Stunning scenery from every direction, however does come with plenty of climbing - trust us, it'll all be worth it - Wales awaits tomorrow!
A lovely 4 mile descent kicks us off today, shortly followed by the first taste of the steep short climbs that we'll be getting used to over the coming few days - welcome to Wales!
Some tricky navigation through Abergavenny will eventually give way to a 5 mile climb up to the Eastern Brecons! If your legs allow it, you may even enjoy the views of this spectacular jewel in the crown of Wales' natural, rugged landscape!
An undulating start to the day as we pick our way through the Western Brecon National Park. However, we'll reap the rewards of our labours in the form of a 12 mile descent!
Keep plenty in the legs, however as the rolling hills, although not long, are plentiful and sapping!
