The UK has some of the most scenic riding we have experienced, and this route will not disappoint! On this journey we'll pass through tourist highlights of Oxford and Stratford Upon Avon, taking in the stunning Cotswolds on the way. We'll enjoy picturesque towns and villages and stunning countryside as we work our way from London to our final destintination of Stratford upon Avon.
We'll depart from south west London to escape the city as soon as possible! Our journey will take us out along the river and through the picturesque suburbs of London, passing through Hampton and Shepperton on our way out to Windsor.
We will have a stop in Windsor to see the town and take some snaps of the castle and continue on our onward journey to Oxford. This part of the route takes us into Berkshire and through the Chilterns (Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty) and into the historic city.
The evening is free to enjoy the city, taking in the stunning university buildings and experiencing the nightlife.
We depart Oxford and make our way through the beautiful British countryside over to the Cotswolds.
The Cotswolds is the largest Area of Outstanding National Beauty (AONB) in England and Wales, covering an area of almost 800 square miles. It is famous for its quaint towns and villages, its literary and royal connections and its fabulous food!
We will pass through the picturesque villages of Bourton-on-the-Water, Stow-on-the-Wold and Lower Slaughter. We finish up in Cirencester where we have time to explore the town and enjoy the culinary delights that the Cotswolds is famous for!
We depart from Cirencester and continue our journey on two wheels towards Stratford Upon Avon. On the way, we pass through Cheltenham, a spa town renowned for its culture and key events such as the Cheltenham horse racing festival, and Broadway, another quaint Cotswold town.
We end our journey in Stratford-Upon-Avon, one of the UK’s most popular tourist spots with more than 800 years of history and a world renowned reputation as the birthplace of William Shakespeare. Your options here include a wealth of cultural attractions, the theatre, river boat cruise, a buzzing town centre and a collection of good restaurants and pubs.
